Goodbye Jumbo  Karl Wallinger may be the best of the Beatle imitators. I don't think he tries to copy Lennon and McCartney as much as he tries to channel them. Still, this one-man-band offers up an unmistakably personal vision, especially on this album, where themes of love, environmentalism, racial-ethnic-political harmony blend into a trippy, rocking, soulful gumbo.
