War This is the one that shot U2 into the mega-leagues, and justifiably so. War features a big, martial sound made for arenas. But as big as the sound is, the beauty is in the subtlety of the message. This is definitely an anti-war album, but Bono never resorts to anything as crass as saying "war is bad." The imagery is so powerful, though, that only an idiot would miss that point. |
