In Yo' Face!, Volume 3  I suppose by all rights Parliament's Mothership Connection should be on this list. It was my introduction to real funk, but even though I consider it a fine album I've always passed it over in the used bin. Go figure. Still, I consider myself a big fan of funk, and believe every collection needs some. Don't worry, I promise I won't actually shake my booty.
